Arrival day

Before Day 1. The city is easygoing, so let the first evening be slow and the group settle in together.Details
From the airport
The airport sits right beside downtown, only a few minutes from the harbor and the hotels there. A taxi or rideshare is the easiest way in, and a shuttle or the trolley can work too, so check ahead.
Settling in
Check-in is usually in the afternoon. The places here are spread out, so a rental car or a rideshare account helps. Ask your hotel about parking before you book.
First evening
Walk along the bay near Seaport Village and eat early. Day 1 starts at the zoo, which is best soon after it opens, so let everyone sleep well.
