Enlarged
A renovation in 1930 doubled the height of the prayer hall
The mosque was not rebuilt but only enlarged. The work in 1930 doubled the height of the central prayer hall and improved the ventilation and natural light. Inside, horseshoe arches form the aisles, and the decoration is geometric.
