I Gusti Nyoman Lempad worked in painting, sculpture and architecture, and was friends with foreign artists in Bali, including Rudolf Bonnet and Walter Spies. He designed parts of the museum. His drawing, the Dream of Dharmawangsa, is one of its masterpieces.
