Many springs
Over 80 springs rise here, and only 16 are for drinking
The springs are part of the Eger Graben, a tectonically active region in western Bohemia. Each spring has the same hydrological origins. All of the springs combined provide roughly 2,000 litres of water every minute.
Colonnades
The town also has a cast-iron colonnade and a wooden one
The Park Colonnade is a cast-iron structure of 1880 and 1881 by Fellner & Helmer. The Market Colonnade is a wooden structure in Swiss style, built in 1882 and 1883. The Castle Colonnade is in Art Nouveau style.
